Horses - The Heartline of My Work
These paintings are the legacy line, the originals that built everything I create today. Horses have been my North Star since childhood, steady as ever through every season of life. Each piece is hand-painted in the same traditional, process I’ve carried since the beginning, layered with contemporary energy and a future ready aesthetic. My illustrations are the imaginative counterpoint to my legacy line, the branch of my art that wandered off the trail and built its own lively little universe. Wildlife spirits, quirky pets, and whimsical and realistic characters step onto the page with big personalities, turning ink and watercolor into narrative driven story worlds. Each piece is traditionally hand-drawn the way I’ve worked since day one, yet carries a fresh, contemporary spark, character focused, a little unruly, and created to make collectors smile.
