Here, my illustrations take on a life of their own, quirkier, mischievous, and a little more cuddly than my equine art. They drift toward storytelling and charm, turning simple ink and color into tiny personalities with big energy. My BeGrimed Boos float in and out of trouble, woodland creatures map out escape routes to nearby hiding places, black cats guard portals, and a hamster with his curious companion find their way into many of these tiny adventures. Every character who wanders out of my imagination adds another page of tiny adventures, story scenes, and character lore to this growing storybook universe. It is the playful heartbeat of my creative world, a place where every sketch, drawing or painting can spark a new adventure.

A brand new series has floated into the haunted corner of our studio, and it’s buzzing with giggles, ink splatters, and delightfully spooky shenanigans.
Welcome to a world where tiny inky spirits drift through charming chaos, tumbling into mischievous and mysteriously messy adventures.
The unique patch work and the patterns and remnants of their travels showing proudly on themselves reveal their personal spirit and charm, each Boo carrying a history stitched into every fold and smudge. Among them, a certain curious hamster (in his bravest little sheet-cloak) and his ever-loyal spider companion do their best to blend in with the Boos.
Do they truly think their disguise fools anyone? That’s the magic; the wonder sits right in the question.
This series dances between whimsy and weird, sweetness and spookiness, laughter and a little lovable trouble. Every piece is hand-drawn with cuddly mischief and cozy-ghost charm, a reminder that even in the shadows, joy finds a way to glow.

Year Round Magic

My autumn and Halloween art lives in a world where the season never clocks out. Fireflies often drift through the dark, pumpkins gather in happy little clusters, bats trace familiar arcs across the sky, and woodland paths echo with whispers of stories waiting to be told.
Every piece carries the perfect blend of old fashioned nostalgia and the spark of something wonderfully unexpected, filled with both new and old traditions.
The BeGrimed Boos often wander into this realm and float in with their distressed and tattered souls. They mingle with the leaves and lanterns as if the studio door is always open.
The Haunted Hats series, which began in 2004, continues to anchor this collection with its playful twists and classic haunted whimsy both as paintings and sculptures.
Tarot symbols and story threads weave through the work, adding layers of meaning that shimmer between intuition and imagination.
Several ideas and new projects are always taking shape behind the scenes and a few fit sweetly into this world. It brings one of a kind mixed media pieces, collectible Boo paintings, and sculpted spirits to life, carrying forward the handmade soul of this collection while creating something new for my collectors to discover.
