As we step into 2026, I want to begin by wishing you a very happy New Year and hoping your holiday season was filled with warmth, rest, and a little bit of magic. This time of year always invites reflection for me. Not just on what was created, but on what quietly waited its turn.
The past few years have been incredibly full. Commissions kept the studio busy in the best way, and I am deeply grateful for the trust so many of you placed in my work. At the same time, a number of personal projects and ideas were set gently on the shelf, waiting for space. This year is about making that space.
In 2026, I am intentionally shifting my focus back toward exploration and long form creative work. I will still be accepting commissions, but in very limited numbers. This is a conscious decision to protect time for projects that have been evolving behind the scenes for years and are finally ready to come forward.
One of the things I am most excited about is continuing to experiment with new materials and processes. I plan to push myself creatively by working in different styles, revisiting techniques I have not used in a while, and allowing the work to be a little less predictable. Expect new abstract interpretations of my horses alongside more traditional pieces. These explorations feel important right now, both as an artist and as someone who believes growth comes from a little discomfort.
Later this year, I will also be releasing new series in the fall, including a project very close to my heart. Around November, I will be sharing Twelve Days of Winter Wonders. This includes a poem I wrote, accompanied by twelve original paintings created specifically for it. This project blends storytelling and visual art in a way that feels deeply aligned with how I want to work moving forward.

Alongside the paintings, I am hoping to wrap up several illustrated stories that have been slowly taking shape over time. My goal is to bring these stories into finished form with illustrations and move them closer to becoming books. It feels like a natural extension of the worlds and themes that have been present in my art for a long time.
More than anything, 2026 is about intention. Slowing down enough to make meaningful work. Letting curiosity lead. Trusting that projects built with care and patience will find their people around the world.
Thank you to everyone who has followed along, collected my work, shared kind words, and supported me over the years. Your presence has made it possible for me to continue doing this work and dreaming forward. I am looking ahead to this new year with excitement, gratitude, and a renewed sense of purpose. I cannot wait to share what is coming next!
